Inspired by the headlines in fashion and cooking advertisements and pulp cover designs of the post-war period, mainly the 1950s – 60s. Jemima is a manifestation of the characteristic brush script of these ads, typically created for display. It is playful and rendered in meticulous hand.

Currently Jemima has only a complete lower case, a few ligatures, contextual alternates and old-style numerals. I hope to refine and complete the set in the near future.
