Rendezvous: The Romance Bookstore

As a trendy, young romance reader (or so I imagine!), I felt embarrassed—doubly so as a conscientious designer—to access the Rendezvous store’s website, so I decided to try re-branding it. Instead of harking back to the Fabio and bodice-ripper stereotypes that denigrate romance’s image in general, I focussed on the elegance and restraint of old-fashioned courtship.

Please note: this is an unofficial project, and is not currently in practice by Rendezvous. However, if the owners happen to read this, I’d be happy to implement this solution or otherwise. Will work for romance novels!
