Regency romance authors, Katharine Ashe and Sarah MacLean, required a custom WordPress blog theme for their blog, The Ballroom. The design had to be simple and elegant, yet playful and romantic, and a bit historical. Photo references of a period assembly room and chandeliers were used to create the final illustration in the header.

The theme is a three-column layout, widget-ready and incorporates jQuery effects, and accommodates for multiple authors (with author archives and profiles).
